Job Summary:
We are now seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership capability to join our Fremont, CA office.
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing real-time engineering assessments to support customer requests, and other development activities. This role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and international engineering partners to integrate designs, mitigate mechanical risks, align technical decisions and resolve issues quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design of server system structures and rack configurations
- Provide real‑time engineering assessment to support customer requests, and other development activities.
- Review Engineering Changes (EC) to ensure manufacturability, and alignment with design requirements.
- Coordinate local sample rework, including arranging modifications, managing vendors/labs, and ensuring timely delivery of reworked samples.
- Communicate closely with internal R&D and manufacturing teams to align technical decisions and resolve issues quickly.
- Support on‑site engineering tasks such as sample evaluation, troubleshooting, and feasibility checks.
- Collaborate with Taiwan engineering teams to align design standards and enhance mechanical architecture for worldwide manufacturing.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Mechanical, or equivalent
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience
- Solid Microsoft Office suite skills
- Familiar with BOM, 2D drawings, and mechanical terminology; 3D design using PTC Creo (Pro/E) is also required.
- Proficient with EIA, ISS rack, and server design standards, as this aids in customer communication
- Bilingual language skills in English and Mandarin as R&D, Marketing, and Manufacturing are based in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.
- Sound knowledge in server systems, data center infrastructure and liquid cooling knowledge is preferred

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
