American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient PT position, treating an average of 10 patients per day across orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular diagnoses using Cerner EMR.

Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting

Average patient load of 9–11 patients per day (10 on average)

Patient population includes orthopedic, total joint, vestibular, neurological, and balance-related diagnoses

Charting performed in Cerner EMR

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (8-hour shifts with a required 30-minute lunch)

No weekend requirement

Clinic is supported by 2 PTAs; no rehab aides or OTAs on staff

14-week contract
-
Minimum 2 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience

Active state PT license required (pending licenses not accepted); license required if applicable

Active BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted)

Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of outpatient orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and balance patients

1–2 day floor-specific orientation provided

Professional attire required; no specific scrub color

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
