Performs preventative maintenance and repair to equipment as well as other property. Responsible for performing basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performing mechanical repairs. This position also involves additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to identify and repair issues effectively, and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, and effectively complete tasks without constant supervision.
Perform preventative maintenance as needed.

Inform the Maintenance Manager of parts or assistance as needed.
Help maintain maintenance supply inventories at the proper level.
Contribute by developing or suggesting continuous improvement ideas.
Train production employees to operate equipment as needed.

Transport parts or supplies as needed.
Must have a minimum of one year of maintenance experience and be able to successfully perform most maintenance functions required.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with personnel.
Must have the ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to communicate ideas & instructions effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work the mathematical concepts such as adding, subtraction, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in both Standard English and Metric Systems.
Must have a basic knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Must have the ability to deal with routine day-to-day problems as well as larger problems and circumstances that may occur.
Must have the ability to deal with people to communicate ideas, suggestions, and instructions.
