Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and tankers regional routes
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules
- Milk Collection: Drive to assigned locations and deliver milk to processing plants.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations
- Transport goods following strict safety protocols and documentation procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and handling activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and manual handling techniques
- Experience with tankers is highly desirable
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules and safety standards for truck loading/unloading
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning
- Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks such as load & unload operations.
- Valid certifications for specialized trucks (tanker trucks) are a plus.

Pay: $0.60 - $0.70 per mile
