Job Summary
Tiger Performance is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Repair & Soldering Technician to support our electronics, production, repair, testing, and inventory operations.
This is a hands-on role focused on aviation and marine helmet and headset communication systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting, soldering, repairing, testing, organizing, and working with electronics-related products, including small parts, wires, connectors, headsets, radios, cables, adapters, communication equipment, hand tools, and testing equipment.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, follows instructions, stays organized, and can help keep production moving.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electronics, wiring, cables, connectors, adapters, and communication equipment.
- Repair and test aviation and marine helmet/headset communication systems.
- Perform soldering, wiring repairs, connector repairs, and small electronics repairs.
- Assemble, repair, and test cables, headsets, radios, adapters, and related components.
- Work with helmet communications, headset wiring, plugs, adapters, microphones, speakers, push-to-talk systems, and related accessories.
- Use basic testing equipment such as multimeters and related shop tools.
- Follow written instructions, work orders, and quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Support production, repair, testing, shipping, and inventory operations as needed.
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following areas is helpful:
- Soldering
- Electronics repair

- Multimeters
- Hand tools
- Inventory or production work
- Low-voltage electronics

Experience with headset plugs, microphone wiring, speaker wiring, push-to-talk systems, communication cables, or radio adapters is a plus.
IPC soldering certification is a plus, but not required.
Production, warehouse, inventory, or technical shop experience is also a plus.
Hands-On Skills Assessment
Candidates selected for an interview may be invited to visit our shop for a brief hands-on skills assessment and team introduction.
During the assessment, candidates may be asked to demonstrate basic skills such as soldering, wire handling, connector work, headset or helmet communication troubleshooting, tool use, and following written instructions.
This allows us to better understand your skill level and gives you the opportunity to meet the team and see the work environment.
The assessment will be scheduled in advance and will focus only on skills related to the position.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit, stand, bend, and work with hands throughout the shift.
- Able to lift up to 30–50 lbs as needed.
- Comfortable using soldering equipment, hand tools, and basic shop tools.
- Able to maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures and quality standards.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Must meet company insurance or vehicle-use requirements if driving is part of the position.
