Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and steering system diagnostics to optimize handling and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical issues within automotive electrical systems.
- Service vehicle maintenance needs such as oil changes, brake repairs, diesel engine repairs, and general inspections to uphold quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools efficiently for repairs and installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of advanced diagnostic tools for troubleshooting engine, electrical, transmission, and other vehicle systems.
- Deep mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance, powertrain repairs, transmission system repairs, and suspension system diagnostics.
- Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately for electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred; familiarity with diesel engines is a plus.
- Strong technical proficiency with auto estimating software and familiarity with automotive service procedures.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for complex repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $86,400.00 per year
