Overview:
Go Forward Services is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Direct Support Professional (DSP) dedicated to supporting children with developmental disabilities, emotional challenges, Autism, ADHD, and medical fragility. This is a part-time position, scheduled for Sunday mornings.
Our providers work with children and youth, offering support that strengthens families and primary caregivers in addressing the functional, developmental, behavioral health, of the child or youth. This service helps reduce the ongoing stress often experienced by families of children with emotional disturbances.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with mealtime and personal care routines and daily living activities. Engage the child in activities as recommended by the therapist, helping to reinforce therapeutic goals and promote ongoing development.
-Facilitate and supervise activities, focusing on improving fine motor skills, communication abilities, and overall developmental growth.
Assist the individual in developing daily living skills, such as:
- Personal hygiene
- Dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation
- Household organization
- Money management
- Community safety
- Measure and document progress with daily session notes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be cleared by the State Child Abuse Registry; and complete fingerprinting for a criminal history background clearance.
-Complete Mandated Reporter training.
