We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and a strong background in hospitality or custodial services. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Carry out floor care duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and stored properly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens and towels are clean and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred, particularly in hotel or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
