Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Full-Time Team Member to join our crew. This position is a combination of both customer-facing and back-of-house tasks where the role can/will rotate daily. Each team member takes part in every aspect of the process, including, but not limited to - mixing, fermentation, shaping, boiling, baking, toasting/schmearing, bagging, and customer checkout/service. We have an open kitchen where customers are encouraged to interact with the team.
Rich Spirit Bagels is an artisan bagel shop in Wheat Ridge, serving handmade naturally fermented bagels alongside simple schmears and lox. We care about quality, consistency, and creating a welcoming space for our Wheat Ridge community.
Duties
- Provide attentive service to every guest
- Prepare bagels, sandwiches, and spreads to shop standards
- Operate POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Assist with opening/closing duties (stocking, cleaning, organizing)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Take part in each aspect of bagel production as directed daily
- Represent the Rich Spirit Bagels brand with positivity and professionalism
Experience/Qualifications
- Prior food service or retail experience is helpful but not required
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability for morning shifts and weekends is required. This position will be Wednesday-Sunday 5am-1pm.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
