Pro Tint of Florida is hiring an experienced Automotive Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer who can demonstrate their workmanship on-site before hiring.
This is NOT an entry-level position. Training will NOT be provided.
Applicants with zero professional PPF installation experience will not be considered.
Pro Tint of Florida specializes in paint protection film, color change vinyl wraps, automotive window tinting, and ceramic coating installations. We have been in business for more than 20 years and operate three locations throughout Central Florida.
Our Downtown Orlando location is seeking an experienced PPF installer who strives for precision and takes pride in producing clean, professional results. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a wide range of vehicles, materials, patterns, and installation techniques.

Candidates must have a cheerful and professional attitude, be punctual and dependable, work well as part of a team, and maintain a clean driving record.
Automotive window tinting experience is not required, but would be an added bonus for consideration.
Requirements:
- At least two (2) years of professional experience installing clear, matte and colored paint protection film in a professional, shop-based environment
- Experience must include customer vehicles completed in a professional setting; backyard or at-home work alone does not qualify
- Ability to demonstrate installation workmanship on-site before hiring
- Experience with vehicle disassembly and reassembly, including trim panels, emblems, handles, mirrors, lights, and other components when required
- Knowledge of proper surface preparation, contamination removal, edge finishing, alignment, stretching, and post-heating techniques
- Ability to identify and correct installation defects such as debris, lift lines, stretch marks, fingers, trapped moisture, exposed edges, and adhesive disturbance
- Able to use computer-cutting software such as CORE with Graphtec plotters to pre-cut and weed out films before installation
- Must be fluent in English; bilingual applicants are a plus
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be punctual, reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a busy shop environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and painted surfaces for paint protection film installations, including, but not limited to: hand wash, clay bar, chemical decontamination, light polish
- Install partial-front, full-front, and full vehicle paint protection film packages
- Install full and partial vehicle wraps, roof wraps, hood wraps, accent pieces, stripes, chrome-delete packages, and other vinyl applications
- Use computer-cutting software and a Graphtec FC9000 plotter to produce vehicle-specific PPF patterns
- Safely remove existing paint protection film, vinyl wraps, decals, and adhesive residue as needed
- Properly disassemble and reassemble vehicle components when necessary to produce clean, tucked, and finished installations
- Inspect completed work for contamination, lifting edges, alignment issues, stretch marks, and other imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized installation area throughout each job
- Remove all installation debris and return vehicles to customers clean and ready for delivery
- Communicate with management regarding vehicle condition, installation concerns, material usage, and job progress
- Occasionally travel to our other Greater Orlando area locations to work for the day as needed
- Assist with related services and shop operations when necessary
