Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing pediatric practice. In this vital role, your expertise will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and oxygen saturation levels.
- Support clinical procedures such as administering vaccines.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems by documenting patient information precisely and efficiently.
- Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and managing patient flow.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Certified Medical Assistant is required.
- Experience supporting pediatric clinics is a plus.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for success in this role.
- Knowledge of medication administration and vital signs measurement is required.
- Refined patient service skills and the ability to effectively engage with children and families is required.
Schedule
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: Availability as needed. Ideal candidate will be available from 8:00pm - 5:00pm with the expectation of being scheduled at least twice per month.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
