Construction Framing Estimator must be competent with estimating high end residential and multifamily buildings. Must have over 5 years of experience as an Estimator, skilled in general trades (carpentry). Only persons with this experience will be considered.
Requirements
- Manage bid schedules
- Process bid invites
- Review drawings, specifications and bid documents
- Prepare summary for review
- Material take off for estimate
- Prepare submittals
- Accurately identify all framing components, hardware, hangers hold downs etc.
- Prepare proposals and SOVs
- Significant math skills & intermediate Excel skills
- Advanced knowledge of Plan Swift
- Offsite visits to proposed sites and contractors
- Positive attitude, detail oriented and highly organized
