Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a love for dogs, grooming experience, and a commitment to providing excellent care. You will be responsible for grooming small breeds and ensuring each dog leaves looking and feeling their best.
Responsibilities:
- Provide grooming services including brushing, clipping, and nail trimming. Bather provided.
- Assess the grooming needs of each dog and consult with pet owners to understand their preferences.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all dogs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
- Handle dogs with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets, providing excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dog grooming (5+ years required).
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for animal care.
- Ability to handle dogs of various temperaments and sizes.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
