Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, construction machinery, and industrial vehicles. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspension systems, and air brake systems using schematics and advanced diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, farm machinery, and industrial equipment.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical issues efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, assembly of parts, power tool operation, and tire service to keep equipment running smoothly.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles including transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform fabrication tasks involving welding and soldering with precision.
- Excellent ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions while maintaining safety standards. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
