POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Transportation Operator to provide safe and reliable transportation services for students traveling to and from campus. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of professional motor coach driving experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to safely operate MCI motor coaches while maintaining a positive and professional environment.
This position requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement, 2–3 years of professional motor coach driving experience preferred, and a clean driving record. Experience operating MCI motor coaches ranging from model years 1998–2025 is preferred.
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Occasional shifts: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
- First and Second Shift available
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from campus locations while following all safety procedures and traffic regulations.
- Operate MCI motor coaches safely and professionally.
- Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate transportation records, schedules, and tracking documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe, comfortable experience for all passengers.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and transportation personnel.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctual service.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns, incidents, or safety issues promptly.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and transportation needs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to follow schedules, procedures, and transportation guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–3 years of professional motor coach driving experience.
- Experience operating MCI motor coaches (model years 1998–2025).
- Experience transporting students, passengers, or large groups.
- Experience with transportation logs, route documentation, and tracking systems.
