Job Overview
Jewell Remodeling is looking for a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. We are searching for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and can complete high-quality remodeling projects with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Perform residential remodeling work including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and general home renovations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively on-site
- Install framing, drywall, trim, doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, and finish carpentry
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools for framing, trim carpentry, and dimensional measurements
- Perform heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety protocols during construction site activities
- Collaborate with project managers to adhere to construction schedules and plans
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials regularly
Qualifications
- 5+ years in remodeling
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and measurements
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other construction equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during construction tasks
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Valid construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and adherence to protocols
