Position Overview
The Licensed Residential Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems for custom homes, additions, and high-end remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, knowledgeable of North Carolina electrical codes, and committed to producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe and professional job site.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems.
- Perform electrical work on custom homes, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations.
- Complete rough-in, trim-out, and finish electrical installations.
- Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Ensure all work complies with North Carolina electrical codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Deliver exceptional workmanship and professionalism on every project.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Electrical License.
- Minimum of 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, NEC requirements, and local codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
