About Seattle Today
Seattle Today is a Newspaper covering local stories, national headlines, and global perspectives through the lens of Seattle and the broader Pacific Northwest. We highlight the people, places, businesses, and ideas shaping the region through news, culture, business, and community-focused storytelling.
Our work spans breaking news, neighborhood reporting, business interviews, social-first content, and original digital production. We are building a modern local media platform designed to inform and connect people while reflecting the energy and creativity of the Seattle region.
The Role
We are hiring two Communications Associate Interns for a paid 12-week internship based in Seattle, beginning September 9, 2026.
This is a hands-on media and communications role supporting our editorial, social, and community outreach work. It is ideal for someone seeking practical experience in digital media, journalism, communications, or public relations and who is genuinely curious about Seattle businesses, neighborhoods, and civic life.
Interns work on-site Wednesdays and Thursdays for approximately three hours each day.

- Draft social media captions, story concepts, and short-form content
