The Floating Associate may have a different duty every day depending on where the additional assistance is needed. The position requires an employee to perform essential functions of the job, including but not limited to the following duties:
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (food safety) guidelines and hygiene practices.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and timely manner (our process is primarily manual with machine-assistance).
- Inspect product at all stages to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Locate and final product and packaging.
- Pull/push racks of and finished product.
- Participate in operator-based machine maintenance and care.
- Participate in training programs.
- Safely use and dispose of cleaning agents and chemicals.
- Prep trays and pans, portion ingredients, move racks of product, remove product from pans, make boxes, pack product into boxes, tape cases, stack cases, and more.
- Participate in dishwashing duties (running dish machines, manually washing small wares, pans, etc.).
- Participate in equipment and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner.
- Locate and retrieve raw materials and packaging.
