Job Overview
Paws Place Dog Rescue is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Kennel Technician to join our pet care team. This role is crucial to our dogs' health, helping ensure they receive exceptional attention and care while they wait for their forever homes. As a key member of our staff, you'll help create a safe, clean, and loving environment for every dog under our roof.
Responsibilities
- Strong teamwork ability
- Exercise animals daily
- Handle animals safely, using proper restraint and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of animal behavior
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as dog food or dogs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- 18 years of age or older
Schedule
Weekend and holiday work are required.
