We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Take customer orders accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about drink offerings, and make recommendations.
- Monitor customer consumption to ensure responsible serving practices.
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, including setting up bars and serving drinks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Proficient with cash registers and POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including beverage preparation techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating drink recipes.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience with banquet service or catering is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
