We are seeking a caring, dependable MALE Live-In Caregiver. The ideal candidate is patient, kind, humble, observant, and confident working with clients who have limited mobility and occasional behavioral changes.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, feeding
- Expert with Dementia and Mental health clients
- Monitor and report changes in condition or behavior
- Daily Skin checks of residents
- Follow care plan and maintain documentation per DSHS standards
- Prepare and serve meals; assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to remain calm and professional during behavioral episodes
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Must be able to pass DSHS background check
