Weekend Office Administrator (Youth Sports Facility)

Beginners Edge Sports Training (B.E.S.T.) is seeking a Weekend Office Administrator to support the smooth operation of our youth sports facility.
This is an easy, straightforward position that plays a big role in keeping our weekends running smoothly. We are ideally looking for someone who can work Saturdays but may be able to cover Sundays should our Sunday manager need off. We are absolutely open to candidates who can work Saturdays only.. Just let us know your availability when applying.
We are looking for someone reliable and organized who is interested in a long-term role, not a short-term or temporary position.
Schedule & Hours
- Typical shift: 7:45 AM to approximately 3:30 PM
- Extended hours: Some days may run later (typically until 5:30–6:00 PM) when birthday parties or special events are scheduled.
- Occasional/rare latest end time: No later than 8:00 PM
- Estimated average: 4-8 hours per day
- Weekend availability is required; occasional coverage flexibility is a plus if you can cover the other day.
Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk operations, including greeting families and answering phone calls
- Assist with registration and enrollment for classes, camps, and events
- Help maintain the overall flow of facility activities, including classes and birthday parties
- Coordinate schedules and support coaches and staff as needed
- Oversee birthday party events and assist with staff coordination during parties
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the facility
- Provide general administrative and customer service support
Requirements
- Prior administrative or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and confident when interacting with parents and children
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using Computers especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, basic scheduling tools)
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Outgoing and personable.
- Passion for working around children and youth sports
- Ability to occasionally cover an extra weekend shift if needed (only if working only 1 day)

We serve children ages walking –15, offering programs in soccer, softball, basketball, track, sports birthday parties, camps, and more. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, positive, and welcoming environment for kids and families.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
