Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas following state and local regulations
- Use salon software to schedule appointments, manage client information, and process retail sales efficiently
- Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to support their hair care and beauty needs
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their desired look and offer professional advice on styles that suit their features and lifestyle
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory, and customer service excellence
- Handle front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, managing bookings, and maintaining a positive salon atmosphere
Skills
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in hair care, coloring, styling, and grooming techniques
- Strong knowledge of salon software systems for appointment scheduling and client management
