InnoH2O Solutions, LLC - a leading provider of water treatment services in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Ohio - is looking for a Site Foreman and Water Treatment Specialist / Operator to support existing and new Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) Treatment work we are performing in the Ohio area.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Monitoring the treatment of AMD from chemical-based treatment systems
- Overseeing the operation and maintenance required to maintain adequate site operations
- Report to management on operations and noted issues/concerns
- Support data collection activities of treatment processes
- Test and record daily water samples to ensure compliance
- Maintain a daily log of treatment activities
- Collect weekly/monthly water samples from treatment ponds, fill out chains of custody and deliver to laboratory for analyses
- Mowing and weed eating
This position will require a motivated and detail-oriented person that can work on their own and be responsive to site needs. Prior experience in AMD treatment is desired, but not fully necessary and for candidates without experience training will be provided (both site and MSHA training). The ability to lift 50 pounds regularly is required.
It is desirable, but not required, that the candidate has had experience or education in any of the follwing...
- Environmental Science or Engineering
- Fisheries or Wildlife Biology
- Mining
- Mine electrical operations/MSHA certified electrician
- Operating potable water treatment and sewage plants/has a valid Ohio Operators License in either water or wastewater.
Starting pay will be based on education and experience.
Applicant must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
