SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC is looking for a part time Lab Assistant. This is a great opportunity for a college student looking for hands on lab experience while finishing a field related degree.
SJ Labs and Analytics, LLC is the first Cannabis Testing Lab in the state of Georgia. This position is perfect for a new graduate looking for lab experience in an innovative regulated industry. This position will report directly to the laboratory team leader and laboratory manager.
The Lab Assistant's primary responsibilities will be sample intake, folder prep, sample homogenization, and weighing out test for the lab technician. There may be some basic data transcription or review.
Education and Experience Requirement
Bachelor's degree student in:
- Chemistry
- Biology
- or any other related lab based Science
Duties
- Prepare Plant Sample for Analysis
- Prepare Tincture, Edible, Concentrate, and Topical Samples for Analysis
- Prep intake folders
- Organize and intake samples
- Maintain lab housekeeping
- Answer phones and provide customer service to new and existing clients
- Lab Inventory
- Data transcription
