Overview

Duties
- Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, tractor-trailer, and flatbed vehicles
- Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques and mechanical equipment as needed
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Deliver goods to designated locations efficiently while adhering to schedules and traffic laws
- Assist with vehicle maintenance checks and minor mechanical troubleshooting when necessary
- Manage documentation related to deliveries, pickups, and load details accurately
- Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery operations, or related roles with a focus on heavy lifting and load management
- Mechanical knowledge of trucks including dump trucks, flatbeds, front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for heavy equipment operation and road travel
- Experience in load & unload procedures using various truck types
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of driving or standing
