An established firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of collections experience to support a Community Association/HOA practice. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Maryland.
Requirements:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active Maryland Bar license.
2-4 years of collections experience.
Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), district court procedures, and post-judgment enforcement.
Strong research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high-volume collections caseload from intake through resolution.
Handle court appearances and enforcement matters.
Communicate with clients and provide case updates.
Draft legal documents and assist with legal analysis.
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case management.
