We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to support our growing portfolio of aerospace and DoD programs.
Position Overview
The Contracts Administrator will manage aerospace and defense contracts throughout the full contract lifecycle, from award through closeout. This role works closely with program management, engineering, operations, quality, finance, and procurement teams to ensure compliance with customer requirements, FAR/DFARS regulations, and aerospace industry standards.
The ideal candidate has experience supporting DoD prime contracts, subcontract administration, proposal support, and government compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage DoD prime contracts and subcontracts (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ)
- Review and administer customer contracts, modifications, and purchase orders
- Draft and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, and contract amendments
- Support proposal development including Reps & Certs, risk analysis, and Section K/L/M review
- Administer CDRLs and coordinate deliverables with program and engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR/EAR, and AS9100 requirements
- Interface with DCMA and DCAA regarding audits and contract administration matters
- Issue and manage subcontracts while flowing down customer requirements to vendors
- Maintain contract documentation and ERP system records
- Support internal and external audits and compliance initiatives
- Customer portals
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of contracts administration experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts and subcontract administration
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Preferred
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ITAR/EAR compliance
- Experience working with DCMA/DCAA
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
