Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an HVAC Lead Installer, based in Kingman, AZ. The HVAC Installer is responsible for the professional installation, replacement, and commissioning of heating and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial applications. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship that meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements.
The Installer will remove existing equipment, install new HVAC systems and ductwork, connect electrical and refrigerant components, and ensure each system operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with system change-outs, new installations, and duct modifications/installation, and can complete projects in a timely and professional manner.
This position plays a critical role in customer satisfaction by ensuring systems are installed correctly the first time, job sites are kept clean and organized, and installations meet company quality standards
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems according to schematics and design specifications
- Perform system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately
- Diagnose issues related to electrical components and refrigeration systems while adhering to EPA regulations for refrigerant handling during installations
- Operate a variety of tools including welding equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic devices; maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for each job performed
- Install, test, and commission heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems and related mechanical equipment.
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years installer experience
- Proven experience in HVAC install roles with a strong background in HVAC installation and trouble shooting
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; experience with HVAC/R systems strongly preferred
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics accurately when needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities in a field service environment.

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per day
