Job Title: Hospice RN – 7 On / 7 Off | Full-Time On-Call
Location: Greater Twin Cities Metro Area (21 Counties)
Compensation: $54 - $78 per hour active hours, $510.00 - $12.00 per hour beeper fee
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

Your Role – What You’ll Do:

Be fully responsible for on-call coverage during your 7 days on (nights, days, weekends)

Respond to urgent patient needs including pain, symptom management, and crisis situations

Provide telephonic support to families and caregivers with empathy and clarity

Conduct in-home visits as needed across our 21-county service area

Coordinate with the IDG to ensure appropriate follow-up and care planning
-
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our electronic health record
Qualifications – What You Bring:
Current MN Registered Nurse license

Previous hospice, oncology, or palliative care experience required

Clinical confidence to triage and respond to a wide range of scenarios

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Ability to self-manage a demanding on-call schedule with professionalism

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and comfort driving to homes throughout the metro

Personal cell phone for work communication (device not provided; reimbursement available)
