Summer Grounds/Landscaping Technician, (Part Time)
Evergreen Property Management, Inc. is a local, full-service property management company that has been serving Northern Colorado since 1987. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-time Landscaping Technician for the summer to help maintain the exterior appearance, lawn health, and cleanliness, of the properties we manage.
This position is primarily responsible for landscaping, groundskeeping, exterior cleanup, haul aways, and as needed support of our Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, organized, communicative, comfortable working outdoors, and takes pride in completing quality work.
This role reports directly to the Lead Landscape Technician and Field Supervisor. A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required, as this position involves driving/towing a trailer with equipment between managed properties.
Core Responsibilities
● Perform routine landscaping and groundskeeping work, including mowing, trimming, edging, weed removal, and general exterior cleanup.
● Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, plants, flower beds, and other exterior landscaping areas.
● Remove weeds, dead plant material, litter, pet waste, debris, and other unsightly items from properties.
● Clean and maintain sidewalks, walkways, parking areas, alleyways, trash areas, common areas, and exterior spaces.
● Operate landscaping equipment, including riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, and other related equipment.
● Safely hook up, tow, and operate trailers while following all company safety procedures.
● Maintain and care for company-provided trucks, trailers, tools, equipment, and storage areas as if they were your own.
● Keep up on routine maintenance/servicing of all equipment and logs
● Notify the supervisor and lead landscape technician of any issues or concerns while at a property
● Report unsafe, unsightly, or concerning property conditions in a timely manner.
● Be aware of posted chemical, fertilizer, or treatment notices while working at properties.
● Complete assigned work orders and communicate updates clearly and professionally.
● Complete daily tracking sheets, review your schedule in a Google calendar the day before, and turn in all paperwork and receipts on time.
Required Qualifications
● Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
● High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
● Proof of current auto insurance.
● Ability to safely drive between properties during the workday.
● Ability to operate landscaping tools and equipment safely.
● Ability to hook up and tow/back a trailer.
● Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, stand, walk, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
● Strong communication skills.
● Dependable attendance and a team-focused attitude.
● Ability to identify and report safety concerns or property issues.
Preferred Qualifications
● Prior landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or general labor experience.
● Experience operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, trailers, and other landscaping equipment.
● Basic maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule
2-3 days/week, 8 hours/day. Start and end times vary.

Pay
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Background Requirements
Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check. A valid, unrestricted driver’s license and proof of current auto insurance are required.
