Job Summary
In this on-call, floater position, the employee will be on-call for five designated days per week, which will include at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday), with two designated days off. The employee is guaranteed 50 hours of pay per week, regardless of the actual number of direct client hours worked. Any actual hours worked with clients exceeding 50 hours per week will receive additional compensation at the employees' standard rate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, covering shifts during agency staffing shortages and filling in for employees who are on scheduled leave, vacation, or sick time.

Duties
- Manage care and direction that provides for the individuals health, safety and happiness.
- Engage with the individual in accessing the community and finding fun and interesting activities to participate in both in and out of the home.
- Assist the individual in completing all aspects of healthy daily living.
- Assist the individual in maintaining a clean and comfortable living space.
- Ensure all aspects of care are met with warmth and professionalish, delivering excellent customer service.
- Through an interview and during a thorough training program the Direct Support Professional will gain specific details of the duties outlined above, and will recieve continued support as they gain confidence in their position.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 25 years of age
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Dependable Transportation that can be used to transport clients
- BMV record with less than 6 points and that meets the agency requirements of insurability
- Clean background record
- Clean drug screening
- Must be able to work a miniumu of one day of the weekend.
- Additional requirements may be discussed at an interview
