PART-TIME TO FULL-TIME PROFESSIONAL DOG GROOMER
The Dog Stop is seeking an experienced, client-focused groomer to join our growing team!
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys building relationships with pet parents, and is excited to grow alongside a fast-growing business. This is more than just a grooming position. We're looking for someone who wants to help build a loyal clientele and create exceptional experiences for both dogs and their owners.
This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as your clientele grows.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality grooming services for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types
Conduct grooming consultations with clients at check-in
Review grooming results and recommendations with clients at check-out
Build strong relationships with pet parents and encourage repeat business
Help grow and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment
Work collaboratively with the daycare, boarding, and management teams
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience (academy training alone does not qualify)
Strong scissoring, clipper work, and breed/pet-style grooming skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively with team members
Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Motivated to build a loyal clientele and contribute to the growth of the grooming department
Our Grooming Philosophy:
Appointment-based scheduling, not all-day drop-offs
Personalized service and direct communication with clients
Kennel dryers are used only when absolutely necessary
We believe every groom should be a positive experience for both the dog and their owner.
