Duties
- Mow lawns using walk-behind or riding mowers, ensuring even cuts and healthy turf
- Trim trees, shrubs, and hedges with hand tools or power trimmers to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching
- Operate various power tools including blowers, trimmers, excavators, and hedge cutters safely and efficiently
- Install or repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
- Assist with hardscape projects like installing patios, walkways, or retaining walls as needed
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
- Must have drivers license
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping, construction, or hardscape installation
