We have a long history of people working across the entire back of house: design, print, build and install, and we're on the hunt again for a new team member.
We are looking for a candidate that has demonstrated sign shop skills and experience. You absolutely MUST have 3+ years of prior wide-format sign shop experience. We'll of course train you in FASTSIGNS processes and how we run our shop, but we're looking for someone that can be immediately effective in our environment.
When you join us you must have:
- 3+ years of commercial wide format sign shop experience.
- Full command of basic sign shop skills including design, pre-flighting, printing on roll to roll printers, building signs, using a laminator and a laminator table, weeding and taping.
- Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills as they pertain to preparing sign production jobs including the demonstrated ability to prepare files to target specific equipment.
- Demonstrated experience running and maintaining routers, digital finishers and flatbeds.
- Demonstrated experience with install including ability to drill into interior and exterior walls, lay down window and wall graphics, and application of vehicle spot graphics. Bonus if you have full wrap skills.
This is a full tilt design and production role. You're going to run machines, build signs and go out on installs. You'll be busy all day, every day. And you need to come to us with these skills in place already. Unfortunately, if you just got out of school, and you haven't worked in a wide format shop, this position is not for you. There will be a time when we can take on someone new and train them in the basics, but that is not what we're looking to do right now.
Biggest issue sign shop veterans have when they get here is they can't believe the things we won't let go out the door because they don't meet our quality standards. Our customer service level ranks in the top 10% of all FASTSIGNS in North America. Salary includes base, OT, and monthly team bonuses. We're a small family business.
