Job Summary
The CNC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CNC machining department. This role ensures that production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and in accordance with strict quality standards. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in CNC programming and operation with proven leadership skills to manage, train, and motivate a team of machinists and operators.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Production & Workflow
Daily Scheduling: Plan and manage shop floor tasks to ensure on-time delivery.
Resource Allocation: Assign jobs to machinists based on skill levels and priorities.
Process Improvement: Optimize workflows to reduce cycle times, bottlenecks, and waste.
2. Technical Oversight & Quality
Setup & Programming: Verify CNC programs (G/M-code) and oversee complex machine setups.
Quality Control: Inspect parts against blueprints using precision tools (calipers, micrometers).
Troubleshooting: Guide operators in resolving mechanical, tooling, or software issues.
3. Leadership & Safety
Team Management: Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of CNC operators.
Safety & Maintenance: Enforce OSHA regulations, PPE compliance, and routine machine maintenance.
Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace (5S standards).
