We are seeking a Coordinator of Admissions and DVM Program Recruitment to join our student services team under the Associate Dean for Student and Academic Affairs. This position will manage the recruitment strategy and student initiatives for the College of Veterinary Medicine. They will manage the admission process as well as supervise staff in admissions, student recruitment, and student initiatives.
Specific duties of the position include:

Independently advise and counsel students on the application process, programs offered, student life, and preparation for the DVM program.

Serve as a liaison to other campus offices, alumni, pre-vet advisors, and other CVM colleagues in promoting university relations.

In partnership with the Assistant Dean of Admissions, assess and evaluate applicant and prospect credentials to assist with determining admissibility to the DVM program for the Admissions Committee.

Create reports, surveys, and research to interpret and develop actionable and successful recruitment strategies, materials, etc. for long and short-term recruitment planning purposes.

Supervise staff in admissions, student recruitment, and student initiatives, which includes a full-time support staff member, a full-time CVM student recruiter and a team of student ambassadors.

Create, plan, coordinate, manage, and participate in admissions and recruiting events both on and off campus. This includes working with admissions committee and other stakeholders.

Prepare various reports for CVM deans and administrators as well as external organizations and constituencies. Engage in regional and national conversations regarding DVM recruitment and enrollment management.

Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop physical and virtual materials for prospective students used for student recruitment. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and themes in the marketing and recruitment of prospective DVM students.

The MU College of Veterinary Medicine receives over 2,000 applications for admission to our DVM program and accepts around 120 new students each year. Applications come from across Missouri and the United States. Our DVM program is a top-ranked program in the United States. At MU, the first two years of the four-year program are spent in classroom and laboratory instruction, with the second two years devoted primarily to hands-on clinical instruction and training in our Veterinary Health Center.
