Job Overview
We are seeking Apprentices to join our team. This is an entry‑level tradesperson who performs basic mechanical construction tasks under close supervision while developing the skills, knowledge, and work habits required to advance in the trade. Apprentices assist Journeymen, Skilled Apprentices, and Foremen with daily work activities, material handling, and jobsite preparation. This role focuses on learning safe work practices, understanding mechanical systems, and building the technical foundation needed for progression within the company.
Core Responsibilities:
- Foundational Work Tasks — Performs basic duties such as material staging, equipment setup, cutting and prepping components, and assisting with simple installations under direct supervision.
- Learning & Development — Actively participates in on‑the‑job training, asks questions, and works to understand tools, trade terminology, and mechanical system basics.
- Safety Awareness — Follows all safety rules, uses PPE correctly, and reports hazards immediately; learns proper safe‑work procedures.
- Worksite Support — Helps maintain clean, organized work areas; supports crew workflow by retrieving materials, tools, and equipment.
- Team Assistance — Supports Skilled Apprentices and Journeymen with routine tasks and observes more complex work to build future competency.
- Tool Familiarity — Learns proper use, care, and storage of hand tools and basic power tools.
Authority:
- Reports to assigned crew Foreman.
- Performs tasks only under direct supervision.
- Does not direct other employees except when given simple, task‑specific instructions by a supervisor.
- No independent decision‑making or supervisory authority.

- Basic understanding of workplace safety and willingness to follow instructions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn the trade.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and use basic tools safely.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
