One year experience as an LMRT
We are currently seeking an LMRT who is passionate about the healthcare industry and the diagnostic process in an Orthopedic Surgeon office setting. Tech will work closely with physicians to analyze patient data and X-rays. They will be responsible for taking X-rays of patients in order to diagnose any injuries or pathologies. An ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems, be efficient under pressure and work well within a team environment. NO Weekends, No Holidays, No On Call
Responsibilities:
- Operates imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Prepares exam room for patient exams.
- Positions patient and equipment, explaining the procedures and ensuring patients' comfort.
- Produces diagnostic images, reports important information to the Physician and updates patients' records.
- Communicates with doctors, patients, and family members regarding patient conditions and procedures.
- Completes exams utilizing PACS.
- Organizes the daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitors radiographic supplies.
- Performs routine cleaning of equipment.
- Perform other department related duties as needed
