About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable MHC-LP clinician to join A Place for You Mental Health Counseling, P.C.. This position offers a structured outpatient caseload with both in-person therapy sessions and one weekly telehealth clinical day (based on approval and client demand).
This is a great opportunity for a developing clinician who wants consistent clients, a predictable schedule, and experience in a private practice setting.
Schedule
In-Person Sessions:
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Friday: 3:00PM-9:00PM
Saturday: 10:00AM-6:00PM
Sunday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Additional Telehealth Day
Compensation
- $40 per completed psychotherapy session
- $40 per late cancellation or no-show (when fee is successfully collected)
- Simple IRA match 1%
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to assigned clients
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Conduct both in-person and telehealth sessions as scheduled
- Uphold ethical, professional, and clinical standards
- Maintain consistency with scheduled caseload
Requirements
- Active New York State MHC-LP permit
- Ability to provide in-person and telehealth therapy
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
- Reliability with a structured weekly schedule
- Commitment to client care and professional growth
- Must be able to work stated schedule in person on Staten Island
