TITLE: Childcare Assistant
CLASSIFICATION: 20- 25 hours a week, Monday through Friday, (5 days a week) hours may change with the demand of the children's needs. Alternating shifts between 7:50 am to 4:15 pm.
Shift Availability & Scheduling
We operate with three core shifts to support our childcare needs:
- Opening Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Mid Shift: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Closing Shift: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Important Scheduling Requirements:
- This position features a rotating schedule.
- Candidates must be fully available to work all three shifts.
- Daily hours vary based on the operational needs of the childcare.
- Shift schedules are subject to change.
You Must BE able with work all 3 shifts since its a rotating schedule.
Also you must from time to time be available during hours of operation if other employees or myself become sick , we are a small team and have to cover each other the same way we would cover you. If you have another job that conflict with our hours and plan on doing both jobs than this is not the job for you since you cant be at two jobs at the same time. Will discuss the schedule over an interview.
Pay starts at $17.25 per hour.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This individual must enjoy working with children. The employee will be learning skills to have a good understanding of the importance of guiding our "Children" through their growth and development. This position requires good judgment relating to a variety of routines in a childcare setting with children.
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
- Assists the lead teacher with daily classroom events and programs
- Assumes Childcare responsibilities in cleaning up the childcare setting providing a safe environment
- Establishes a positive relationship with children
- Must change Infant and children's diapers, and assist with potty-training
- Other duties vary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- TB Test- able to obtain before employed
- Immunizations: MMR, DTp, before employed.
- Infant CPR/First Aid Training, able to obtain once employed within 30 days
- State/ Government Valid ID
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check before employment
- Must pass Mandated Reporter Class before employed.
