Job Overview
As a Baggage Handler you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, loading, and unloading of passenger luggage and cargo, ensuring smooth and safe operations at the airport.
Duties
- Safely handle, load, unload, and transport baggage and cargo using mechanical equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems
- Ensure all materials handling complies with Federal Aviation Regulations and airport safety protocols
- Assist with managing baggage flow to minimize delays and maximize efficiency in the terminal and aircraft areas
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and airline personnel to coordinate logistics and resolve issues promptly
- Proficiency in English;
Requirments
- Prior warehouse or materials handling experience preferred;
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physical stamina is essential- moving 70% of shift
- Prior customer service experience with excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
