Highrise condominium association is seeking a FULL TIME dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.Day shift hours .
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming,restrooms,emptying trash MUST BE ABLE TO DO SMALL DRYWALL & PAINTING projects.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Handle waste disposal and recycling activities.Emptying trash in hallways and common areas as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Assist with setting up for events or meetings
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times,ensuring a safe environment, must be efficient, reliable operation of the building,structural systems,common areas, amenities.
- Good leadership skills
- Work well independently and as a team.
- Complete work orders, on call as needed if A building emergency comes up.
- Cleanliness, lobby ,hallways,gyms,rooftops, and recreational rooms,learn the mechanicals of the building, seasonal pool maintenance.Complete building work orders in a timely fashion.Powerwashing and lot clean ups.
Requirements
- Experience in residential painting, industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, and floor care is preferred
- Knowledge of custodial duties and facilities maintenance practices
- Ability to buff floors and perform porter duties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean environment
- Good physical condition to handle the demands of the job
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
