Job Overview
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef/Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service. As a Chef/Line Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring food safety standards are met, being part of a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences, and assisting with all aspects of food preparation, from cooking to plating, and potentially developing new recipes.
Responsibilities . .
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and supplies
- Prepare food items using various cooking methods.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to enhance efficiency.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proven experience in multitasking in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Attention to detail in food preperation and presentation
- Organized and skilled in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
- A dependable team player who can uphold standards in all kitchen operations
