Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Afterschool Program Coordinator & Supervisor to lead an engaging educational and recreational program for children. This role involves overseeing daily program operations, coordinating schedules and supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for all participants. Duties
- Supervise and support staff members, including instructors, volunteers, and CIT's ensuring high-quality program delivery
- Coordinate schedules, assist management of participant enrollment, and communicate effectively with Kids club directors
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, licensing requirements, and organizational policies to maintain a secure environment
- Develop new program initiatives based on community needs and educational best practices
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations using educational administrative software
- Collaborate with resort administrators, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance program offerings
Skills
- Proven experience in education administration or school experience with a focus on afterschool or childcare programs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and educational administrative software tools
- Excellent written communication skills for report writing, documentation, and correspondence
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and working with students of various ages
- Experience in personnel management within educational settings or school administrative director roles
- Demonstrated organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining productivity software tools
