About the Role:
American Hazmat Rentals LLC is looking for a skilled General Fabricator to join our team in Tye, TX. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with a specialized company where your craftsmanship and attention to detail make a real impact every day. We provide onsite training! Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components and structures using welding, cutting, and forming techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production
- Operate fabrication equipment including welders, grinders, plasma cutters, and hand tools
- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on fabrication equipment, tools, and the shop
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and project goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety regulations
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related trade field
- Proficiency with MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings preferred
- Experience operating fabrication machinery and hand/power tools safely preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a physical, hands-on environment
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
