Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team at Casa Real in Santa Fe, NM. This 8-week contract opportunity offers a consistent night shift schedule and the chance to provide quality patient care in a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico.
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
- Previous CNA experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable.
