5 Tool Productions is seeking a Part-Time Live event technician to join our growing team. This position will be primarily located in Norwood, MA but will have the ability for at home work as well as on location shoots.
Position Summary:
The Video Content Producer will be a part-time, hourly position. There will be the requirement to travel to our office, located in Norwood, MA. This position will primarily work in our offices, as well as on-location at events and video shoots. The Part-Time Live Event Technician will work with the team to record, live stream, switch, and produce events and videos for external clients as well as internal marketing purposes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Has strong passion for television broadcast, video production, event production and learning new technologies.
- Relevant experience creating and delivering live video content. Confidence in working with a live production switcher. Knowledge of vMix or NewTek TriCaster a plus.
- Has working knowledge of broadcasting/live stream best practices.
- Can confidently work within the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere.
- Has experience shooting video with professional video cameras, such as the Canon C200 or relevant comparable cameras.
- Has experience editing video in non-linear programs, such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or comparable systems.
- Understands and has working knowledge of the web and social media, video, and content marketing trends
- Effective communicator, team player, and able to clearly articulate visual concepts.
- Demonstrates creativity, organization, responsibility, and commitment to projects both large and small.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Able to self-motivate and work independently on select client projects.
