POSITION 27P11 TITLE: Part-time Energy Management
LOCATION: Countywide
EMPLOYMENT TERM: As needed, part-time/hourly for 2026-2027 school year with anticipated start date of August 26, 2026.
BID PERIOD: August 13-19, 2026, 4 pm. If necessary, interviews will be arranged after bid period closes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant should have experience in Energy management. Training in HVAC controls and energy management applications.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work up to 25 hours a week

Monitor HVAC controls on site and remotely.

Work with outside agencies including electric, natural gas, and water.

Prepare proposals and negotiate pricing with natural gas companies.

Monitor utility usage and enter into Energycap.com and present report to the Board of Education and to the Director of Facilities.

Report energy savings to the Superintendent and the Board of Education.

Schedule and monitor energy reduction required by demand as requested by the electric company.
-
Collaborate and consult with utility companies in times of emergency.

Monitor temperate of the buildings and collaborate with HVAC control company.
-
Additional miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods; reach, bend, crouch, and kneel; grasp and manipulate objects; write; and use repetitive hand and arm motions. The employee must regularly communicate verbally and audibly and visually monitor students and the surrounding environment. The employee frequently uses computers.
